Photographing the Mezinka, a Jewish tradition honoring the parents for marrying off their last child is quite the experience.
It consists of a circle dance where the parents are seated on chairs in the middle of the dance floor. First, the bride and groom stand by their side and present their parents with flower crowns. Afterward, the guests line up and congratulate the parents, then form a circle and start dancing around them until everyone has had a chance to send them good wishes.
With slow shutter speed, our team captured the joy and bliss of this tradition, by adding movement to the dancing crowd. It is a picture-perfect moment between the celebrated couple, their newly married children, family members, and wedding guests.
