A very popular wedding photography technique is to reflect the couple or a moment in various settings. Apart from the obvious use of mirrors, the photographer may decide to reflect the bride and groom in a puddle of water, a fountain, in building windows or sunglasses, for example. All of these reflections are premeditated by the wedding photographer; they are conscious decisions of sometimes original imagery. The most interesting reflections, however, occur spontaneously.
The wedding photographer could not have planned for this moment. He happened to be there at the right time when the self-reflection happened. The double mirror effect of the powder box caught the lips of the bride from the photographer's point of view, while the powder box reflected the eye, casually creating strong artistic wedding photography.
