You’ve met this bride before. She is lounging on a sofa at the beginning of our gallery. You’ll meet her again at the end of our portfolio too; her pictures are too beautiful not to share. It all happened one day in late October when Michael, our photographer, was inspired by the architecture of light.
The shoot came about rather spontaneously as the bride casually took direction from Michael to climb the ladder and to touch the crystal prisms of the chandelier.
While it appears as though the chandelier lights the subject, it is only a visual trick. It is the Phottix strobe set hidden within the chandelier that illuminates our bride, while a second catch-light triggers simultaneously from behind. Michael used two lights to create this image, but neither of them is from his natural surroundings.
Location: Eastern Europe.
