Body Language

A picture can tell a thousand words.

The Candid camera can be so revealing. Perhaps invasive and unethical at times, but some of the most beautiful moments in life are when we are vulnerable.

When acts of honesty, humility, integrity, sincerity, and compassion are observed and captured on film, we can recognize the truth and feel emotions in our hearts. As a species, we all have this in common. It’s what makes us human.

I think for many photographers capturing real human moments is the true motive and reward.

This inspirational photograph is full of beauty in so many ways. There is tension and upset. Marvelous body language. True human connection. Unspoken trust and hope and even humor.

The simplicity of the location, composition, and lighting only add to it’s quirky and delightful mood.

I want to see the entire movie! I think I can hear the soundtrack! This photo makes you question and want more. It is a curious and intelligent image that evokes thought and dialogue.

The human subject is always fascinating and never tiresome. We love to marvel in our own existence. And as we do, we will hopefully keep learning, growing, and creating and appreciating things of beauty.
